Carrying out a full risk assessment to confirm that your water systems are compliant with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, we will identify areas of waste, misuse, undue consumption and contamination.
Organisations are legally bound to ensure that your site is complaint with the regulations. This assessment provides real peace of mind; you will know that customers, visitors and employees to the site are protected from the risk of contamination entering the water systems.
Assessments are scheduled so they cause the least possible impact to daily operations, and we also offer annual or biannual auditing to confirm that water systems remain compliant.
Following the audit, you will receive a report that details any areas of non-compliance and necessary remedial action. Using water industry standard timescales, we prioritise activities and develop a timetable for our customers, a third party contractor or our team to implement.
Using a contractor makes it easier to manage budgets and timescales. It also makes the whole process of regulatory compliance simple and hassle-free.
The alternative is a spot check from the current water supplier. If the site is found to be non compliant, an official notice will be served which defines a date by which remedial activities must be completed. Where work is not carried out, the incumbent water supplier can prosecute the customer, disconnect their supply or enter the premises to carry out remedial work and invoice the customer for their activities.
