Delivering a wide range of services to water utilities throughout the UK, we bring an in-depth knowledge of the standards and expectations of Ofwat, other regulators and industry bodies.
Through our Lloyds accreditation, we provide the network installation and connection of new water services to approved utility standards. Our technicians repair and maintain pipework both above and below the ground to ensure security of supply to customers and to manage leakage targets set by Ofwat.
Our specialist traffic management services make sure that work which is carried out on highways, causes minimal disruption and that surfaces are correctly reinstated.
To date we have installed 1.4 million meters into domestic and commercial properties on behalf of regional utilities. As well as fitting new meters, we repair and maintain existing units and exchange batteries.
Our technicians excavate and install boundary boxes and construct meter chambers in both internal and external environments. Automated meter reading technologies include those read by radio signal, making reading more efficient and reducing the number of ineffective visits.
Appointments are arranged directly with domestic customers, commercial businesses and developers through our call centre. This helps customers to manage their consumption and utilities to manage demand and leakage.
As a member of the UK Legionella Control Association (LCA), our business adheres to both the Water Regulations and the HSE ACOP L8. A major part of our role is to help customers remain compliant with all relevant legislation and safeguard the health and safety of employees, visitors and the general public. This is achieved through risk assessments, remedial activities and ongoing monitoring.
Experienced technicians collect water samples nationwide and deliver them to our UKAS (ISO 17025) accredited laboratories. We can then advise on the quality of water and implement any remedial activities needed to ensure that it meets regulatory and any internal standards.
