Severn Trent was formed in 1974 as the regional water authority for the UK’s Midlands region. The company is responsible for water management and supply, as well as wastewater treatment and disposal, to business and domestic customers within this area.
Following privatisation in 1989, Severn Trent began to build a products and services business which involved acquisitions in both the US and UK. The organisation now operates three divisions: Operating Services, Analytical Services and Water Purification.
From its global head office is in Pennsylvania, USA and 90 office locations throughout the world, Severn Trent Services has built a comprehensive portfolio of solutions designed to analyse, treat, measure, deliver and protect our valuable water resources.
