MANAGE THEIR NETWORK
Beachley Property Limited is the owner of a 60 acre industrial estate in Lydney, Gloucestershire, which is managed on their behalf by Gloucester based Ash & Co. The 40 business tenants who occupy the estate rely on their services to manage and maintain their water and sewerage bills, water supply and removal of trade effluent.
Project Background
With pressures to ensure all utility costs are kept to a minimum, water consumption is monitored carefully across the site. Recently an increase in the water demand indicated a substantial leak requiring quick detection and prompt repair. Through the recommendation of one of our customers, Beachley Property contacted us for a solution.
The activities carried out by the tenants are varied but business hours on the whole are Monday to Friday. Our flexibility enabled us to send out a team over the weekend, to minimise disruption to water supply and traffic movement on site. Our rapid response and competitive price highlighted us over other organisations in the marketplace.
Work Conducted
Working directly with our clients using our expertise and their site knowledge, we carried out a site survey to ascertain where the water was being lost. The leak was located and fixed within three days.
Outcome & Benefits
The water consumption was reduced by 2000 cubic meters per month generating a saving in excess of £20 000 over the year.
Rob Beswick, the site manager now has peace of mind that we are able to react quickly to the needs of his site. Following the project he said “the level of service received was excellent” and should the need arise “we wouldn't hesitate to use Severn Trent Services Operating Services again”
